From high school hallways to oceans apart, our journey began on October 16, 2010.
Two young hearts, full of dreams, met as teenagers and grew together through time, distance, and countless milestones.
After graduating, Nelson moved to Bacolod City, while Gwen went to Cebu City for college. They spent the next six years in a long-distance relationship, especially when Nelson moved to Maryland, USA, for a year to pursue his internship. When he returned to the Philippines in 2016, he settled in Cebu City, where they were finally able to be together again.
In 2019, Gwen and Nelson moved to Australia to begin a new chapter.
Then in 2023, during a short family trip back home, Nelson proposed to Gwen on the beautiful island of Boracay, just as the sun was setting, and surrounded by their loved ones.
Now, after 15 years together, they’ve chosen to say I do on the shores of Cebu Island. On October 16, 2025, they’ll finally tie the knot, celebrating a journey built on love, growth, and the joy of finding home in each other.
And the rest is history
